The Tea

Astrology is an ancient and living language that has been making meaning of individual and collective life for over 5,000 years. While it’s more accessible today than ever before, much of its depth has been diluted into pop culture, often missing the potent, transformative heart of this modality.

Perhaps you’ve felt the pull of astrology’s mystery but have found the vast sea of information overwhelming. You’ve read books, followed astrologers online, maybe even used a few apps—but still, interpreting charts with confidence or understanding the deeper meanings of the planets, signs, and houses seems elusive. You can sense the moving parts, but weaving them together feels out of reach. You know there’s more to uncover, and you’re ready to take your knowledge to the next level.

When I created Astrology School, I designed it as I would have loved to learn it myself—12 years deep on the other side, with all the knowledge and experience I’ve gained along the way.

What Makes Astrology School Unique?

Astrology School is not just a formal teaching of astrology’s language and application—it’s a transmission of the living, breathing experience of astrology in practice.

Each week, you’ll build a new layer of understanding, exploring a different area of the chart. You’ll apply your learning to your own birth chart, gaining deeper insight into your own operating software. You’ll learn the language of astrology and use it to truly understand yourself. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to see and discuss the charts of your fellow students, experiencing astrology through the lens of others and expanding your understanding even further.

Over 100 students have now journeyed through Astrology School. As we enter our fourth year and the sixth round of Level One, I can confidently say: If you commit to the work, you’ll leave this course with the ability to unpack any natal chart—understanding the moving layers, the ley lines of astrology’s landscape.

A Living Experience

In Astrology School, you won’t just study astrology—you’ll experience it. You’ll witness me read for you and your classmates, and you’ll see how astrology speaks to your unique nature and nurture. You’ll understand the archetypal and energetic spectrum of each placement in your chart, and most importantly, you’ll learn how to apply this knowledge to elevate and nurture the different aspects of your being—if you choose to.

Your chart is not just a map; it’s your personal user manual for this lifetime. It’s not only a language—it has its own energetic resonance. Being attuned to your chart allows you to tap into your intuitive intelligence, your vitality, and your life force. It brings you into full presence with who you are.

The knowledge you gain in Astrology School is not just for this course—it’s a tool for life. I use astrology in every area of my life: in my relationships, in my parenting, in my business, and in my personal growth. This is a life tool—practical, powerful, and transformative.

By the end of our 9 weeks together, you’ll not only be able to confidently interpret charts, but you’ll also be able to use astrology to guide your life in profound ways. You’ll feel deeply connected to yourself as you explore your own living mythos through an astrological lens.

Below is the course breakdown:

Level One: Learn the Language and Embody Your Chart

 

CHAPTER ONE: THEORY — LEARNING THE LANGUAGE OF THE CHART

  • We begin with the twelve archetypes of the Zodiac, going much deeper than the layer of pop astrology. Here we will explore the higher and lower expressions of each sign, or what I would more refer to as the conscious and unconscious aspects of each sign. You have all twelve signs present in your chart and all of these archetypes live within you, some to a more dominant degree than others (depending on planetary focus etc). Please note that by signing onto this course you have access to my back catalogue of workshops about each of the twelve signs. These are very in-depth and you have access for one year.

  • The Planets are broken into four sections; the Luminaries, Personal Planets, Social Planets and Transpersonal Planets. We will explore each of these definitions and the associated planets as well as what each of the planets represents symbolically within astrology and the chart.

  • The twelve houses speak to where the action of the planets and signs take place, each representing a different area of life, from identity, our inner worlds, relationships, purpose and so on. The houses are a vital layer in the language of astrology and unlock so much in our own understanding of Self.

  • The aspects are the geometric relationships between the planets in your natal chart. Often represented by the blue or red lines within the centre of a chart. The aspects speak to the relationship between the planets in question. Each aspect holds its own energetic signature and guides us in how to work with the planets in question.

 

CHAPTER TWO: EXPERIENTIAL - LIVING THE CHART

  • Each of us has dominant archetypes within the chart. Here we look at the important role and function of balancing polarities/opposites in astrology. We will discuss all of the six axis and how to practically balance them within your chart.

  • Let’s look at the energetic flavour of your conditioning (IC) and what aspects of the personality you brought to the surface as a result of this (ASC). These two energy points often require conscious attention and balancing out as we adapted to them as children. This is a highly transformative area of astrology and the natal chart.

  • This week we will be looking at the dominant patterns in your chart, how we are playing and expressing them and what their antidotes or healing balms are. We will talk about how to utilise archetypes and perspective shifts and the objective lens of astrology to really observe our own natal charts (aka ourselves) and discuss our nature, our abilities and talents and the ways we explore and experience our existence.

  • We discuss our own hero’s journey by way of exploring our nature, our obstacle course and the ways that we settled and re-settled back into ourselves. We begin to play with the idea of our chart and life as the artist’s journey, with us as the creator and narrator. You will begin to learn the techniques of weaving together a chart and learn the ways that I personally move through a chart reading.

    MASTERCLASS: Take a journey through your own Journey with Gestalt analyst and transpersonal art therapist Heather Devine who will guide you as we close our time together.

About Jules - Your Guide on Your Astrological Journey

Hi, I’m Jules Ferrari, and I first came to formally learn astrology after catching the bug when I had my first astrology reading. I was at the tail end of my Saturn Return and I was gobsmacked by the way this astrologer articulated so much of who I was. The experience of being so deeply seen and validated was in itself a great healing experience and while I looked at the chart as she spoke, I knew so deep in my bones that I had to learn this language. And so I did. Thirteen years have now passed since then and in that time I have blended my own expression of astrology that draws on evolutionary and psychological astrology—a powerful combination I’ve been refining for over 12 years through continuous learning and real-world practice.

Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of clients—from babies to people in their 70s—helping them navigate their unique life paths, challenges, and potentials through the lens of astrology. With more than 1,000 readings under my belt, I’ve had the privilege of watching the transformative power of astrology unfold in countless lives, and it is my great pleasure to guide you through this ancient art in a way that is meaningful and practical.

For the past five years, I’ve worked exclusively as an astrologer, and in my first year of diving fully into this path, I surpassed my highest earnings from a traditional 9-to-5 career. This is living proof that you can have a successful and abundant career in astrology, and I’m here to help you tap into that same potential.

I’ve dedicated myself to bringing a practical, grounded approach to astrology, combining both the psychological and evolutionary perspectives to guide people through deep transformation, so much of which springs from that initial experience of deep validation.  FAQ’s

  • Several wonderful things.

    Firstly, it is taught live. Yes, you can absolutely go and buy a self-study astro course. I choose to teach this live because you are learning a language. And you are applying that language to your own chart, to you, with weekly reflection questions. You will likely have a million questions. And you want to be able to ask them in real time. And that’s my job.

    Secondly, my background and what I teach is my own confluence of psychological and evolutionary astrology, so you are getting the best of two astrological schools of thought, in one.

    Thirdly, you are learning through taking a journey into the depths of your own chart / your own life. This is an experiential AND a theoretical course. There is a big emphasis on the practical benefits of knowing this language and knowing your own chart. It will set you up to better understand yourself, to better understand how you communicate, how you are in love, how you tap into your own intuition most naturally and on and on. And at the same time, you will learn about how other people - in the course - experience their sign and planetary placements. This is a brilliant way to see how the signs and archetypes take form in real life. Each chart is so different and yet, every chart utilises the same planets and archetypes. By taking this course you will get real life data on how those differences are expressed through all of the other students in this course.

  • Will you be able to look at a natal chart after taking this course and make sense of all of the moving parts? Yes. This is one of the survey questions I give to clients when they finish Level One and 100% of people who have completed this survey say that they can now look at a chart and understand and break down all the moving parts - its no longer a haze of symbols.

    In the last class you will receive a structure of how to look at someone’s chart during a reading, as in, where to start, what to take note of etc. This course is for learning the language. As you will see in this course, there are many moving parts and you are learning the foundations of astrology and the layers of language. You will be learning so much about charts each week, yours and everyone’s in the class so will have a lot of exposure to the manifold ways that people experience and express their planetary placements. I would certainly encourage you to read people’s charts to get a hang of it, this part takes time and I read for all of my family members and willing friends while I was gaining my strength as a reader. You will also get weekly exposure to me reading and interpreting aspects of all of your charts.

    You will note below that Level Two of this course is called ‘Speaking the Language’ and in this course the focus will be reading charts. You will be doing this each week in class of Level 2 as well as learning higher levels of astrological applications; transits, progressions and relational chart reading (synastry and composite charts).

  • Absolutely. Level One is designed for anyone who wants to learn this language and learn their own chart.

    After two years of running Astrology School, the stats show that it’s just over 1/3 of attendees who desire to be a professional astrologer. When I studied I was doing it out of interest to begin with. I had no comprehension that this was something I could do for a job. This course will take you deep into your own self knowledge and understanding and I hope it will also strengthen your relationship to yourself. Your birth chart is an energetic imprint that you came here to explore and embody in all of its highs and lows in this lifetime. The astrological perspective taps us into greater forces at play than the mundane level. We are nature. Working in cycle with nature.

    You have come here to be who you are and to explore and enjoy this mortal experience in your body. You’ll feel much more connected to that larger perspective of life and your life through applying the astrological perspective to it. Learning your natal chart on a deeper level is also the greatest validation that you are in fact, you. For Me, it felt like a true homecoming. There are lots of people who take this course who have always had an inclination towards astrology and this course gives you the true foundations that you just do not get from an app or a book. You can take what you learn here and use it practically in your life, for example, it to better understand the people in your life.

  • Level One is run annually. The next time i offer this will be around March in 2025.

    Level Two will run around September of this year - this is only available to students who have completed Level One.

  • Each class is 90minutes and each week you will receive information sheets for the themes of the week and homework sheets. I’d recommend reading the information sheets before class - you will receive them at the start of each week and will take 10-20mins to read.

    If I was taking this course I would read the sheets, attend the class/catch the replay the same week, ask any questions I have so that I can land the information and then do the homework each week. The homework will take 20 - 30 mins and is designed to aid you in grounding the information you have received in class that week by applying it to your own chart/life.

    You can of course spend longer if you have the time and desire, otherwise 40mins a week will be great. You have access to the info and homework sheets and lectures for life. So you have plenty of time to revisit everything.

    When I went through my first astrology school as a student, I kept all of the info sheets and had them bound into a little book. I still have this almost eleven years later and will still refer to it a few times throughout each year if I need to refresh my memory on something in particular.

    There are 8 weeks of live, weekly classes. If you desire to learn this language, then I recommend that you make the commitment to be tapped into the course for those 8 weeks and you will make brilliant advances.

Level Two: Speak the Language & Hold the Space - Will run approx. Sept - Nov 2025

In level two of astrology school you learn:

Transits, Aspect patterns in relation to transits - what is the journey being highlighted, Progressions, Synastry & composite charts (aka relationship charts) and how to read the charts of children. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to read charts, gaining lots and lots of first hand experience and guidance in doing so. You will also learn how to be a space holder for your readings and learn all things astro biz (how to price your readings, how to advertise your knowledge and expression of astrology etc.)

It is a pre-requisite that you have completed level one before signing up and entering this course.
